Well my painting is packed and ready to be shipped to Toronto for the Portrait Society of Canada’s Exhibit “The Art of Canadian Music”. I had the opportunity to paint Juno award winning country singer Johnny Reid. I was very excited. In the painting, I incorporated a map of his birthplace in Scotland as well as lyrics from songs and his family tartan. I hope Johnny likes it

I have 3 new pieces showing at the North Vancouver CityScape Community ArtSpace Nov 26-Dec 28, 2010. The show opens Nov 25 from 7-9pm. The show is called the “Anonymous Show” because artists have not signed their work on the front. See if you can guess which pieces are mine (alittle hint: they are a triptych and the paintings are’much’ smaller than I usually paint).
